Following on from the successful range of BioBlitz activities presented last year by the Shoalhaven Science Hub as part of the annual Siteworks Spring Festival, Bundanon Trust will present a new program of exciting, hands on activities so that visitors can investigate Bundanon’s unique flora and fauna.
All are invited to explore and record the site’s unique natural environment on Saturday 2 May 2015 at the inaugural Bundanon Field Day.
Visitors will hear directly from experts in conservation, ecology and natural resource management and have the opportunity to share in their visions for the site’s diverse landscape.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to work being undertaken as part of the Living Landscape environmental initiative to restore native bushland and sustain bio-diversity through land management practices on this beautiful property.
Gifted to the nation by artist Arthur Boyd and his wife Yvonne, Bundanon is located 2.5 hours south of Sydney in the Shoalhaven region. Bundanon Trust is the lead partner in the Shoalhaven Science Hub, supported by Inspiring Australia.
The Bundanon Field Day is an event for all the family. The day will commence at 9.00am and the program end at 5.30pm with the option to stay on for a catered BBQ and overnight camp. BYO picnic lunch.
