Kicking off on Friday 6 March at 10am, the Transport Digital Accelerator is launching the Safety After Dark Innovation Challenge, an initiative focused on safety for women travelling in Sydney. This Innovation Challenge is a call to startups and innovators to collaborate with Transport for NSW.
Safety After Dark will open its doors to the startup community in an affort to improve women’s experiences of using public transport at night.
Ideation sessions have previously been held at the Transport Digital Accelerator with partners, start-ups, young women and SMEs. At the launch event, a defined challenge statement will be released to give participants everything they need to apply, including knowledge and awarenss of key challenges and opportunities.
Among topics canvassed at the launch will be a discussion about evidence-based action and what the Transport Digital Accelerator is offering participants, including seed funding to develop ideas.
