NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet said supporting the growth of Australia’s most ambitious innovation centre was more important than ever before.
“With first-class researchers and entrepreneurs eager to collaborate and an innovation precinct ready to support jobs growth, NSW is in pole position to become a global leader in technology,” Mr Perrottet said.
“Tech Central is predicted to bring up to 25,000 jobs to NSW and will be a major player in accelerating our economic recovery and future-proofing our economy.”
Among the first tenants in Sydney’s first centralised collaboration space for researchers, developers, engineers and entrepreneurs are Q-Ctrl, Sydney Quantum Academy and Quantum Brilliance – all working to advance quantum technology, high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.

In July 2022, Tech Central’s Scaleup Hub run by Stone and Chalk will open doors. The Scaleup Hub is located at 477 Pitt Street in Sydney, a short walk from Central Station, and is designed for scaleups and those who support them.
Split over 6 levels and 8,000 sqm of open and flexible commercial office space, the Scaleup Hub offers a range of private office suites, meeting rooms, event spaces and spillover workspaces.
This is Stone & Chalk’s second Hub in Sydney and seeks to transform Australia into a sustainable technology-driven economy.
