The Science Tent at Splendour in the Grass, co-produced by Inspiring Australia, Southern Cross University and Fizzics Education, sees leading researchers from across Australia present talks and demonstrations at this popular three-day music festival that attracts 135,000 young people.
Since 2017, dozens of researchers from ten universities and research institutions have entertained the crowds with short talks on topics from drug testing, chemistry and sustainability to shark behaviour and detection, slime moulds, music, maths black holes, dark matter, cybersecurity, chrystallography and more.
