Inspiring Australia NSW is thrilled to announce the successful recipients of the inaugural Regional STEM Community Activity Seed Grants 2026. Designed to spark curiosity, creativity and connection to Country, these small grants will support community-led STEM engagement initiatives across regional NSW throughout 2026.
This year’s funded projects reflect an impressive breadth of ideas; from nature journaling and canoe making to nocturnal bug blitzes, science shows, bush foods STEM workshops and citizen science activities. Each initiative demonstrates the passion, expertise and local leadership that drive regional STEM engagement in NSW.
