This is a STEM Job

Samsung and Questacon have joined forces to launch a new program as part of its Creators Wanted campaign to raise awareness of how important STEM education and innovation are to the future success of Australians and our community.

To change perceptions of STEM amongst students, helping them see the potential of developing skills in STEM for the future, This is a STEM Job invites young people to participate in a competition to win a chance to live and breathe their dream job one-on-one, with a STEM creator of their choice in the form on a one-day internship.

Winners will snap up flights from their hometown, transfers and accommodation (for them and if under 18 years old their parent or guardian) and a Samsung tech including Galaxy Note9, Gear VR and Tab S4.

How to apply

Applicants must submit a piece of work in response to one of three briefs, to be in with the chance to win an internship to kick start that STEM career.

Briefs are

  • create a piece of music, 1-2 minutes long
  • design the surfbord of the future
  • design some eco-friendly fashion

Entries close 23 November 2018.
