The Blacktown Community Science Fun Day lit up the 2025 NSW National Science Week calendar as the very first event of the season. Hosted by Mt Druitt Ethnic Communities Agency (MECA), the day brought together families for a celebration of science, innovation, and community spirit.
From hands-on STEAM workshops and interactive exhibits to inspiring career talks, the event sparked curiosity and creativity in young minds from diverse backgrounds.
With the support of Blacktown Council, a strong network of local collaborators and universities, the event was a vibrant showcase of how science can empower, and inspire.
