Did you know that half the air we breathe comes from the ocean? It is our absolute lifeline, deeply connected to our health, our well-being, and our ultimate survival.
This World Ocean Day (Monday, 8 June), the Ocean Lovers Festival is creating a space for you to feel that vital connection firsthand. They are thrilled to launch the first event in our brand-new series designed to keep the Ocean Lovers community connected, inspired, and engaged throughout the year.
Whether you are local to Bondi or joining from afar, there are two fantastic ways you can get involved, give back and celebrate our blue planet.

Yoga & Meditation: Flow and center your mind with Shannon, founder of @weriseyogabyshan.
The Plunge: After finding our inner calm, we will head out to the beach to immerse ourselves in the ocean as part of our GET WET campaign.
Community Connection: We’ll wrap up the morning by gathering over coffee to share our experiences and learn more about what Ocean Lovers is building to create lasting environmental change.
Can’t make it to Bondi? You can still be a vital part of the movement from wherever you are. On 8 June, we are inviting our entire community to GET WET.
When we feel a physical connection to the water, we fight harder to protect it. Whether it’s a sunrise swim, a surf, a snorkel, a dive, a backyard pool dip, or a paddle—any body of water, any way you choose, it all counts!
How to participate:
Get Wet on 8 June: Head to your local ocean, lake, river, or pool.
