Inspiring Australia NSW is thrilled to announce a brand-new opportunity to support regional communities in bringing science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) to life — all year round!
The Regional STEM Community Activity Seed Grants 2026 are now open, offering up to $1,000 for small, one-off events or activities that celebrate science and spark curiosity beyond National Science Week.
These grants are designed for not-for-profit and community groups across regional NSW who want to make STEM more visible, accessible, and fun in their local area — whether through hands-on workshops, community science days, interactive exhibitions, or creative science-art collaborations.
“We know that regional communities have amazing ideas and energy,” said Inspiring Australia NSW Manager Karen Player. “These grants are about giving local groups the support they need to turn those ideas into inspiring, science-rich experiences for their communities.”
