Gut Feelings @ National Science Week 2026

Gut Feeling exhibition

Inspiring NSW has been pleased to support the ongoing work of the Gut Feelings Community Art Project throughout 2026.

Following their fabulous exhibition at the end of National Science Week 2025, the artists have been busy presenting at events, workshops and festivals across NSW. Their unique, interactive hands-on activities invite people of all ages and skill levels to explore the fascinating gut-brain connection while knitting, crocheting, weaving and wrapping colourful textile microbes and intestinal anatomy.

We’re thrilled they’ll be back for National Science Week 2026 with a series of events. Each event includes informal presentations by leading researchers, giving you the chance to hear first-hand about the latest discoveries in this fascinating field. If you’d like to learn more about the remarkable gut-brain connection and what the latest research is revealing, we encourage you to come along.
